We need your help! Our oceans and their inhabitants are under threat from things like climate change, ocean debris & plastic, overfishing and ocean noise. The good news is, that all of these issues can be mitigated. Without our oceans, we simply cannot exist, which is why it is essential that we act now. On World Ocean Day, people everywhere unite to celebrate and take action for our shared blue planet, with one ocean and one climate, which connect us all.
Over the last five years, Auguste has been supporting the Australian Marine Conservation Society through our partnership with 1% For The Planet. The AMCS is Australia’s only national charity dedicated exclusively to protecting ocean wildlife and working towards healthy seas. This amazing team of ocean lovers across the nation work tirelessly to protect critical ocean ecosystems and lead movements to ban whaling, stop super trawlers, and protect threatened and endangered species like the Australian Sea Lion.
Being a Byron Bay based brand, our team is filled with serious beach lovers and the health of our oceans is something very close to our hearts. Here at Auguste, it has never been just about fashion; eco-consciousness and philanthropy are at the core of who we are as a brand. We share the AMCS desire to ensure Australia's coasts and oceans are protected and healthy for future generations.
Our Head Designer & Creative Director, Ebony Eagles has designed a 70’s-inspired ‘Keep Our Oceans Cool’ Tee as a call to action for our Auguste community. 100% of the retail price of the tees will be donated to the AMCS on World Ocean Day, the 8th of June in which every donation made will be matched by AMCS, thereforedoubling our efforts to protect our oceans.
With the support of over a hundred influential people, on June 8th we will be posting a photo of ourselves wearing our Keep Our Oceans Cool Tee. We aim to take over the world's Instagram feed on World Oceans Day to help raise awareness, start the necessary conversations and highlight the incredible work done by AMCS. We want to create a ripple effect – because purchasing a Keep Our Oceans Cool Tee is not only a donation to the cause but a statement whenever it's worn.

This is not our first charity tee! We have had such an incredible response in the past with our charity tee’s, that is why we knew this was the best way to reach people and raise money, all at once.
In 2019, we designed the unisex “Hero” tee to support victims of bullying with 100% of the proceeds donated to our partner charities. We sold 2,173 Tees and raised $85,895 for the Alannah & Madeline Foundation’s National Centre Against Bullying and The Cybersmile Foundation.
In 2018, Auguste released a limited edition UN Women tee and donated 100% of the retail price of each tee to UN Women. We sold 1,300 Tees and raised $71,023.
