FASHION REVOLUTION: WHO MADE MY CLOTHES

Every garment has a story. A sketch, a plan, a number of hands that have pulled it together and sent it on its way – and then there’s you. This week we’re pulling you into the story to meet our global Auguste family. We want to be transparent, enter a conversation and give credit where credit is due. And we want you to ask the questions. It’s time to understand your clothing’s journey and change the way we shop for a better future.

This week marks the anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse, which killed 1138 people and injured so many more in Bangladesh on April 24, 2013. This day sparked the Fashion Revolution, pushing for a change in the way we source, produce and consume clothing. At Auguste, we want you to know that your clothing is made fairly and safely, and always has been. So let’s introduce you to the hands behind our garments – and get the conversation rolling.
