Day 3 was our favourite yet... the lovechild of an amazing line-up and the knowledge it would be 362 days until we'd be back - we knew we really would have to make the very most of the next few hours. The morning was spent at Tallows Beach... soaking in the sun & salt, all messy hair and tired eyes. After a lazy half-day resting and rejuvenating, we headed back in in time for Marlon Williams.
This was one of our favourite live performances - not just at Splendour In The Grass but anytime, anywhere. If you haven't heard this man's music, your life could very much change in a song or two.
After Marlon we had some amazing veggie burgers before making our way up the hill to watch Boy & Bear. James Blake was next - and the crowd felt like it was one as we swayed back and forth to the sound of James' lullabies. In the dreamy state he put us in, we passed up Flume for the lucid-dreaming- like performance that was Sigur Rós.
It was then home to a long awaited sleep, dreaming of bright lights and swaying people and groovy guitar riffs.
So long Splendour, we'll meet again after a quick circle round the sun.
