Customer Care Representative

This means…

I work within the Customer Care team in Byron Bay. I take care of answering questions to help our lovely customers find the perfect Auguste piece for their occasion. The team and I are passionate about passing on weekly feedback from our customers to the rest of Auguste to constantly make great even better.

How does Auguste connect with your personal style?

I love layering and accessorising so I love that Auguste is understated enough to wear every day paired with statement accessories. 

What in your closet brings you the most joy?

This is a hard question because so many pieces in my closet bring my heart joy. At the moment, a pair of vintage jeans I scored at flea markets on a recent trip to Amsterdam.

We’re at your favourite spot in Byron Bay. What makes it so special?

When I first moved to Byron Bay, I would come to Folk as soon as they opened in the morning to journal, plan, self-reflect and drink coffee. It was comforting to be establishing a routine in a new town with a cafe that creatively inspired me and always has a special buzz in the air. I still love going to Folk for its community vibes and now it is an especially nostalgic place for me.

One thing you love about working in Byron…

Summer days are long and I am blessed to be able to soak up the beach any day before or after work.

What can’t you get enough of right now?

Reformer Pilates, cashew cheese, podcasts, fresh flowers. 

What’s your go-to office tune?

When it comes to getting dressed/fashion, what matters to you?

Voting with my dollar and feeling like myself! Also, finding an outfit that reflects how I want to feel that day. Sometimes I want to feel floaty and feminine, sometimes the mood is understated and some days I'm feeling quirky. I would much rather invest in fewer pieces that are quality and tell a story over fast fashion any day. I am learning that the difference between style and fashion is that style goes beyond fashion. Style to me is when I have put together an outfit complete with pieces that all make me feel beautiful in their unique way. I love that wearing a special item with a story can spark connection and conversations with strangers. 

What’s your favourite Auguste piece right now?

My Protect Our Reef Tee! It has been my companion while I read in bed, with jeans while I run errands and I love it tied in a knot with high waisted palazzo pants while in the office.
