The seasons are changing...
Our gorgeous pal Mel Kenny aka @sheisnourished
is back with her last Winter warming recipe. (Yeah, we know it's Spring now, but this baby can be served chilled!)
CACAO CHILLI SMOOTHIE
3 frozen bananas (makes the smoothie creamy)
2 cups almond milk (unsweetened)
2 cups spinach/kale (your preference)
1/2 cup toasted Hazelnuts
1 tablespoon maca
1/4 teaspoon Cayene Pepper (you can add less or more depending on your preference for heat!)
1 tablespoon Chlorella
Cacao (how much you add will depend on how dark you like your chocolate. I normally add 2 - 4 tablespoons).
1. Place all ingredients in the blender.
OPTIONAL: You can heat the almond milk on the stove prior to mixing in the blender with the ingredients. Just be careful when blending hot ingredients!
