Buongiorno, we are exploring Italy’s capital city, Rome with @lissygraham_ and her daughters Mitty & Soph. Brimming with ancient history, from the Colosseum to the port of Ostia Antica to the majestic Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel - there is something to see around every corner. But Rome doesn’t just offer incredible art, history, architecture and beauty, the pasta & gelato is what's won our hearts over! We were lucky enough to join these beautiful tour guides for a day exploring the ‘Eternal City’.
“I read this quote from Italian actor Alberto Sordi and it has always really resonated with me, especially now that I’m here. Everywhere you turn a little piece of history awaits you from the bustling Colosseum to the Italian designers like Valentino & Prada.”
Auguste stayed at this charming boutique hotel, right by the Trevi Fountain. Each room is individually designed and outfitted with modern art and flea market finds.
Where To Eat:
“Good food and conversation are the backbone of Rome. From a beautiful relaxed coffee at the Bulgari Hotel to Trieste Pizza in Monti. Here are a few of my favourites.”

Best Vintage:
“Italy is the home of understated glamour and luxury, from Prada to Fendi to the most beautiful leather artisans on every corner. Vintage shopping is big in Rome & I found so many little laneway boutiques selling vintage treasures.”

What To Wear:
“I’ve found fashion here to be relaxed but modern. My Auguste dresses were perfect to glide through the crowds & then dress up with a little kitten heel for dinner. Holidays are all about building a small capsule wardrobe that I know I’ll wear again and again, and Mitty, Soph & I share whatever we bring, so it’s lovely seeing my wardrobe reimagined in their eyes.”
