Introducing Auguste's #ProtectOurReef Campaign!  

Throughout 2017, Auguste has been supporting the Australian Marine Conservation Society through our partnership with 1% For The Planet. 

The AMCS  is Australia’s only national charity dedicated exclusively to protecting ocean wildlife and their homes. This amazing charity works tirelessly to prevent fatal coral bleaching and help protect The Reef's water quality from land erosion, industrialisation and sediment run off. 

Being a Byron Bay based brand with a team filled with serious beach lovers, the health of our oceans is something very close to our hearts.  At the core of this, consciousness is one of Auguste’s brand pillars. Our online and social community show emotional investment in our philanthropic campaigns - it isn’t just about the fashion at Auguste, and it never has been (take a look at our last campaign with Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia). 

As we were capturing our Pacific Girl Campaign on the beautiful Great Barrier Reef, our Head Designer & Creative Director Ebony wanted to build on this, to raise awareness for the AMCS and what they do for The Reef and Australia's oceans. Ebony designed a special 70’s-inspired ‘Protect Our Reef’ Tee as a call to action for our customers to support the AMCS. 100% of the retail price of the tees will be donated to the charity!

To help us spread the word, we asked some of Australia’s most influential women to post a photo of themselves wearing their own Protect Our Reef Tee, and October 3 really was a magical ripple effect...
